Burberry’s Inner Animal

Hello Everyone! I’m back with another post about the iconic brand that is Burberry!

A major feature of the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection is animal print! Used on clothes, shoes, bags the prints give Burberry a new look & new sophistication! Below you can find a collage I’ve made of my favourite male & female accessories from the collection.

The chocolate & toffee colours of the ‘Animal Print Calfskin Sandals’ enable you to wear them at work (without being told they’re inappropriate), wear them when out, wear them whenever you want to! The 4.5 inch heels add to the shoes’ sassiness! If you would like to know more about the shoes, please click here.

There are eight different variations of ‘The Little Crush’ to choose from & the one we can see (below the peep toes) is my personal favourite out of them. This particular ‘Little Crush’ is studded with animal print & the signature ‘Burberry Check’. The bag adds a fierce touch to any outfit it is teamed with & will draw in lots of attention! If you would like to know more about this wonderful accessory, please click here.

Golden glamour & print power are what make the ‘Animal Print Calfskin Cuff’ a fabulous accessory! I love the fact this cuff has a snap-hinge meaning it isn’t difficult to put on or take off! The white & black add to the cuff’s versatility enabling you to wear it with the majority of outfits! Looking to find out more about it? If you are, please click here.

The next two accessories are from men’s part of the Prorsum print collection. Continuing with our clockwise flow, let’s discuss ‘The Boston’. Available in four different variations, I have chosen to show to you ‘The Boston In Spotted Animal Print’. With the detachable shoulder strap, the bag can be worn in two different ways. The bag’s design was inspired by vintage luggage & has hand painted edges that give a finish to the bag. If this bag has caught your eye & you would like to know more, please click here.

Last but by no means least, we have the ‘Animal Print Calfskin Gloves’. Made of super-soft leather, these gloves have a comfy cashmere lining. A metal press stud (to fasten the gloves) tops the design off perfectly! Want to know more? Please click here.

If this post has left you wanting to see even more of the Burberry A/W 13 collection, you can click here for the women’s accessories & here for the men’s. Below you can also find the campaign video for the A/W 13 collection starring Sienna Miller & Tom Sturridge!

Victoria’s Vision

She’s done it again! Today, Victoria Beckham unveiled yet another set of amazing items! This time the accessories were part of her eyewear collection. The six pairs of glasses are available in black, amber tortoiseshell, taupe & topaz colours & look absolutely stunning! When speaking to Vogue, Beckham had the following to say “I need to wear glasses and had never been able to find a pair that suited me perfectly so I created my own range of optical frames.”

Handmade in Italy out of the finest materials, Victoria also said that she is “so pleased to be able to offer them online for the first time this season.” Below you can see the woman herself sporting her personal favourites (the Heavy Square).

As you can all see, the whole collection is simply beautiful! They embody VB’s sophisticated look & would look great with a variety of outfits! As soon as I saw the photo of Victoria wearing the ‘Heavy Square’ I fell in love! They look fab & instantly became my favourites!
The glasses look great in both of the colours, I honestly cannot fault them! The precise angles, the structure, just everything about them is visually appealing!
I shall leave you to oogle over the above photos, but before I do that, I have supplied the links & prices of the glasses!
Bye for now!

London’s Very Own Merge

Merge LDN. Producing British Tailored Street wear (otherwise known as BTS), this brand was founded by former ‘TOWIE’ star Tom Kilbey. With a vision to make “multifaced artistic illustration” the brand uses the creativity of both musicians & photographers to personally produce their items of clothing. Below you I have taken a screenshot of what Merge means to founder Tom Kilbey:

When Merge LDN was launched, the idea in mind was to provide men’s wear that has individuality & that tells a story. The brand’s first collection was designed & created in their London offices after personally selecting & sourcing the fabrics that are used in their pieces. Merge produces a variety of items such as jackets, t-shirts, tops & shorts. Below you can find two of the brand’s items that I love!
MLDN Alfred Sweater MLDN Tuntill Jacket

I love the class & sophisticated looks that are projected by Merge’s items of clothing so so much! The ‘Alfred’ sweater is a stylish piece that has a subtle quirkiness to it. My favourite part of this jumper is the unique touch made by adding the Merge LDN not only to the chest but also all over the sleeves. The colour scheme of the jumper adds to its versatility making it an even better item to add to your wardrobe! Costing only £79.00 this item is a bargain! If you would like to find out more about this item, please click here.

The ‘Tunthill’ jacket is simple yet stylish. Its versatility & timeless look make it even more appealing! Using the navy colour adds to that the sophisticated style of the jacket, which has worked really well! The price of this jacket is £210.00 & if you’d like to find out more about this piece, please click here.
Before I leave you to admire these fab pieces, please click here if you would like to see more of Merge LDN’s clothing!

Holy Hotttshit!

If any of you reading this are accessory lovers, please keep reading! I have come across a website that is a jewellery gold mine! It goes by the name of ‘Hotttshit.com’ & the title definitely doesn’t lie! Before we look at the products, I’ll give you a brief background on the site.

Hotttshit.com was created out of experience, expertise & a passion for creating a business by Justin & Willie in 2012. Willie runs a product design company & Justin studied art & architecture. The two bonded over their business experiences & their interest in starting a new venture together.

Without further ado, I present to you my favourite pieces of jewellery from the pair’s site:

(Copyright of the above photos belong to Hotttshit.com)

The reason the fox bangle is one of my favourites is because it isn’t in your face, but has subtle charm. It is a delicate looking piece but could add a great touch to most outfits both casual & formal! The bangle is a bargain costing only $17.00! It can be bought from the site by clicking here.

A slightly more quirky item, this ring is funky & stands out in comparison to other pieces of jewellery! Again, I feel that this accessory is something that could be worn with both a casual & formal outfit! You’d be wrong to pass up on this item as it only costs $9.00! If you would like to purchase this wonder, please click here.

I absolute love the items that are on the site & the above accessories provide us with a taste of how unique the products really are! If reading this post has given you an interest in the site, please click here.

For now, that’s all from me!

A Fashion Filled Friday

Long time no posting strangers! This post is very overdue, but luckily my fashion filled Friday on the 19th July inspired my next post! So without further ado, let’s begin.

Arriving at the V&A Museum at 10:30 in the morning meant that I could look at the fashion section & also relax in the gardens. When looking at the fashion part of the museum, many of the items on display caught my eye, but in particular these two drew me in from the moment I laid my eyes on them:

V&A Dior Necklace V&A McQueen Dress

I apologise for the quality of the photos, they were taken on my phone. The intricate details & elegance of the Christian Dior necklace were captivating & the glamour & unique qualities of the Alexander McQueen dress were mesmerising!

At 12:30 I began queuing up for the catwalk show (I think at this point I should mention that the reason I went down to the museum was to see the Fashion in Motion: Jenny Packham show). I should also mention that this wasn’t just any Jenny Packham catwalk, this one celebrates 25 years of Packham’s designs!

Jenny Packham Catwalk

More apologies for the quality of the photo, it is another phone one. Once we were inside & had taken our seats, it all felt surreal. Shortly after, the house lights went off, spotlights flooded the models’ path & the show begun.

Soft materials flowed as the models walked, trains billowing out behind them. The majority of the dresses had delicate colours such as light pinks & neutral tones. There were a few exceptions for example, bolder reds & greens. Teamed with the varied colours were lots of crystals! These made the dresses look even more like they were taken from fairytales! I would summarise the pieces in the show as sophisticated, feminine, delicate, princess-like & glamorous! If you would like to head to the Jenny Packham website please click here.
Once the show had finished, I made my way to Harrods & admired all of the fabulous items! Upon leaving fashion wonderland, I was joined in the lift by the one & only Kate Moss!
Kate Moss Harrods Lift
Only joking! Well sort of… One of Moss’ most recent campaigns were on the doors of the lift (I wish I had shared the lift with her)! I then ventured to Mulberry, to oogle over yet more beautiful items, before heading home after a day in the sweltering heat (definitely not complaining even after getting sunburn).
Mulberry Logo Sunburn
Those white lines on my wrist are from wearing bracelets & yes I still have them.

For now, that’s all from me! I don’t plan on leaving it so long next time!

Kitsy Lane’s Uptown Angel

Hello everyone! I hope that you are well!

Thanks to twitter, I recently found out about the wonderful ‘Uptown Angel Boutique’! Powered by ‘Kitsy Lane’, the lovely Nellie Corean is able to run her own online boutique selling jewellery & various other fashion accessories. If at this point, you are still wondering what Kitsy Lane is, this should help:

We simply provide the platform (by the way, our innovative marketing platform is first-of-its-kind), pay the commissions, and securely handle all the orders.”

– Uptown Angel Boutique

“Kitsy Lane empowers Boutique Owners to run their own online jewelry and accessories boutique on their own time – and make money while they’re at it. Thanks to an easy-to-use, innovative marketing platform, Boutique Owners get to customize their own online storefront, choose the pieces they want to sell, give personal shopping advice, and promote fabulous finds across their social networks. And anyone can do it, creating their own online storefront without the usual risks and headaches of running a business. There’s no starter kit to buy, no website to build, no inventory to manage, and no trunk shows to host. And we’re thrilled to offer it completely free.

– Uptown Angel Boutique

Each week, Nellie sends out an email, to all those who have signed up to the website, letting you know about sales that are being held on the site & to give you a taste of what can be found on Uptown Angel Boutique, I have picked out some items that are my favourites:

Uptown Angel Boutique Martina NecklaceUptown Angel Boutique Livi Scarlet Bangle

(Copyright of the above photos belong to Uptown Angel Boutique)

I love the simplicity of the necklace as it isn’t in your face & would add a dainty touch to most looks. Purely because of the ship related charms on the necklace, I would team this accessory with a blue & white outfit to give a sailor-esque look. This item was originally priced $58 but now costs only $52! If you would like to find out more about this item, please click here.

I love the subtlety of the bangle despite the its bold, red colour. Like with the necklace, this bangle adds a dainty touch to most looks & would be best teamed with a blue & white outfit. This accessory was formerly $28 & now only costs $22! If you would like to find out more about this item, please click here.

With that, this concludes the post, but if you like what you see & would like to see more of what is in the ‘Flash Sale’, please click here.

Are you a Friend Or Faux?

Hello again everyone! In this post, I am going to be writing about the fab brand ‘Friend Or Faux’ & as always, if you haven’t heard of them you are missing out!

The brand hails from the United Kingdom & focusses on “fashion ideals and cutting edge creativity”. I absolutely love their use of prints whether they are photographs or illustrated!

I would now like to show you some of my favourite items that I feel give a true sense of the brand’s originality:

FOF White Furs T-ShirtFOF Feline Sweater

(Copyright of the above images belongs to Friend Or Faux)

As you can see, both are unique & creative items of clothing with eye-catching prints on them. The t-shirt is clever as it is subliminally saying “Faux fur” by printing the faux over the leopard fur print. I think this subtlety is part of what makes the brand one of a kind! To top off the brilliance of this t-shirt, it is in the sale currently on over at Friend Or Faux’s website! Regardless of whether it is in the sale or not, this item is a versatile gem costing only £15.00! If you would like to find out more about the t-shirt, please click here.
Looking at the sweatshirt’s print, you can almost feel the sensuality & the sexual chemistry these women share! The photograph also suggests that the two women are embracing their inner feline predator (the leopard skin covering them). This sweatshirt is stylish, attention grabbing & versatile! It too is one of the items in the sale & can be bought for only £25.00! If you would like find out more about this sweatshirt, please click here.
I’m hoping that this post is tempting you to buy some brilliant items of clothing over at www.friendorfaux.co.uk & if you would like to see the items in the sale, please click here.

A Printastic Purchase!

Sharing is caring right? Well I feel I should share with you a gem I bought yesterday:

TOPMAN Grey Leopard Print T-Shirt

(Copyright of the above photo belongs to Topman)

This t-shirt is from Topman & costs only £18.00 (bargain)! I love the dark grey colour with the leopard print as I feel it gives the look a new edge. I also love the fact that men wear leopard print as well as women nowadays! The t-shirt looks even edgier due to the denim wash exposing the different tones in the print.

In terms of what to wear with the t-shirt, you could try off white skinny jeans & a pair of grey boots? Also, if you would like to find out more about the t-shirt, please click here.

I was planning to keep this post short & sweet, so shall leave you to check out the links!

Ciao for now! 🙂

Welcome to the Cuckoo’s Nest

Ok, so I’d like to introduce you all to a brilliant clothing brand called “Cuckoo’s Nest”. If you haven’t heard of them before, you are missing out big time! Cuckoo’s Nest makes the following products: T-Shirts, sweatshirts, shirts, jeans vests, skinny cords, jackets, hoodies, polos, woman’s tees, shorts & accessories which all look great!

The company gives a fresh, fun & bright look to clothing & I personally love all the items made by them! Without further ado, I would like to show you examples of the fab products created by Cuckoo’s Nest:

Cuckoo's Nest Birds of Paradise Cuckoo's Nest Buisness Man

(Copyright of the above photos belongs to Cuckoo’s Nest)

Even though I did just say that I love all of Cuckoo’s Nest products, the two above are my favourites! I LOVE the burst of colour on the t-shirt as it is so fun & interesting to look at! On the site, it informs you that the t-shirt has “Personally-illustrated graphic detailing all over” which I think makes it unique & even more appealing! The intricate detail of the illustrated graphics captures the true beauty of nature & shows the item’s high level of quality! The t-shirt costs £29.99 & if you wanted to know even more about it, please click here.

I picked the sweatshirt because I love the eye-catching hand illustrated graphic that is on the front of it. The fact that the sweatshirt doesn’t look too busy is one of the other reasons that I love it. As with the first product written about above, my favourite part of the products are the fine details on the illustrated graphics. The sweatshirt costs £55.00 & if you wanted to know more about it, please click here.

For now this is all from me, but if you would like to see more of the products made by Cuckoo’s Nest, please click here

Victoria: Women of the Decade

Ok, so if you couldn’t guess from the title who I will be writing about, I’ll give you some hints: She is a mum of four, married to one of the best footballers in the world, a fashion icon & one fifth of the Spice Girls! If you still can’t guess who I’m talking about, I am deeply shocked!

Just in case there are any of you out there who can’t figure it out, I’m writing about the one & only Victoria Beckham! Seeing as yesterday was Harper Seven’s birthday, I thought that this would be one of the best times to write about Victoria’s brand.

VB & Family

(Copyright of the above photos belong to Yahoo & the Mirror)

Victoria has achieved so much in the fashion industry that it is no wonder that she wonder British Glamour Magazine’s ‘Woman of the Decade’ award! To summarise some of her achievements, would look like this:

  • In November 2011, Beckham was awarded the “Designer of the Year” gong at the annual British Fashion Awards.

When you look at that list, I think it’s fair to say that VB has done well since the start of her fashion career don’t you? Why don’t we now take a look at some of the items available to purchase online:

VB icon Polo fitted dress V VB Zip front collage dress

(Copyright of the above photos belong to Victoria Beckham)

I have chosen these two items specifically in order to give you a taste of the variation among the different collections.
A personal favourite of Victoria’s from the ‘ready to wear: icon’ collection, the fitted polo dress (dress one of two) pulls off a professional & sexy look. I say this because overall the dress has class & sophistication about it while the red colour of it is eye-catching, interesting & compliments a range of skin tones! The dress hugs the figure of whomever wears it, giving that sexy edge to it! It is recommended on Victoria’s site that you purchase the dress a size larger than what you actually are due the fit of the dress. In terms of the price, the dress costs £1650.00. If you would like to go to the dress’ page please click here.
The zip front collage dress (dress two) is has quirkier look & the intricate detail makes the dress intriguing, interesting & very appealing! This dress is another that suggests professionalism however it has an outgoing touch. The shades of black used compliment the navy & those who wear it. The dress’ geometric patterns draw attention from all over & give a nice depth. Unlike the first dress, you do not need to buy this item in the next size up. The cost of this dress is £785.00 & if you would like to go to the dress’ page, please click here.
If you would like to take a look at other items available, please click here.
